Thais holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, both from UFMG in Brazil. She worked as a Statistician in a bank for four years and as a Business Intelligence Analyst for six months in a marketing technology company. She also has some experience as a tutor and headed a statistics study group for psychology students. During her Master, Thais researched the development of a novel methodology to find latent maps that explain several disease maps simultaneously. She is interested in improving her knowledge in Machine Learning and Spatial Statistics and likes to work with computationally intensive methodologies. She is ready to use her knowledge to contribute to the most diverse fields of Statistics.
